The Haynes Racing Team only decided to nominate for the USA V Australia Sprintcar Shootout on Tuesday and that decision proved to be a good one as Jason Johnson drove away with the $5,000 on offer defeating Ryan Farrell and Brooke Tatnell in one of the best main events at Speedway City this season. In what was a great lead up event to this weekends Fuchs Australian Sprintcar Championship the track curators produced a racey, multi grooved race track that allowed the top class field to showcase their talents with both the B and A main events producing outstanding racing. |

On-line ticketing is now open on the Speedway City Website for the George Tatnell Stand. Go to the "Home Page" and click on the link to book General Admission Tickets for the Australian Sprintcar Championship on Friday 27th January & Saturday 28th January. Grand Stand seats can only be purchased on-line for the Friday & Saturday of the Australian Sprintcar Championship with a General Admission Ticket for both the Family Stand (back straight) and George Tatnell Stand (turn 1/2). The Kym Bonython Stand is fully booked out on both nights. Detailed instructions are given on the "On-Line Tickets" page. Remember to use "Internet Explorer" as your web browser to book tickets. |

A Technical Officer of Speedway South Australia and a member of the Super Sedan Technical Advisory Panel. Shane was a former driver of a Super Sedan and even though his work took him all over the country and overseas he kept in touch with the Super Sedan group. His knowledge and enthusiasm will be sadly missed. Condolences to his family from Speedway South Australia. |
