Mosen Cool As Ice At Speedway City

Last night Auckland based speedster Brad Mosen showed he is one of the brightest up and coming talents outside of the USA by dominating round 7 of the Triple X Speedcar Super Series at Speedway City. The 22 year old struggled a little in time trials but he bounced back in impressive fashion with two heat victories, a win in the top 8 pole shuffle before leading all 30 laps of the Martelco Equipment Hire supported main event.

Along with round 7 of the Triple X Speedcar Super Series tomorrow nights meeting at Speedway City will also include a round of the Revolution Racegear 360ci Sprintcar Track Championship, the V6 Wingless Sprints, Street Stocks and a crowd pleasing Ramp Jump Race, which will be proudly presented by the Grand Tasman Hotel.
Speedcars Return To Speedway City

This Saturday night Round 7 of the Triple X Speedcar Super Series is set to blast off at Speedway City with some of Australia’s leading drivers and a New Zealander set to take on the 430 metre clay way. The field for the Martelco Equipment Hire event of course boasts current Series leader Nathan Smee along with the likes of three time Champion and current Series runner-up Mark Brown, Troy Jenkins, Harley Bishop, Scott Glazebrook, Grant Draney and New Zealander Brad Mosen, who will drive the immaculate #29 Spike for Queensland car owner Jack Berry.

Farr Tops International Field At The Nationals

East Coast Pipelines Racing pilot Robbie Farr emerged victorious at Speedway City in the 35 lap A-Main last night in the 2010 Jack Daniels Racing Australian Sprintcar Nationals. After starting on the front row Farr led throughout the main event and both he and Crew Chief Nick Speed were elated to win one of the biggest single night races on the Australian racing calendar.

Californian Sprintcar star Jonathan Allard has added his name to the impressive list of nominations for this weekend’s Jack Daniels Racing Australian Sprintcar Nationals at Speedway City. Allard is now the fifth American driver confirmed for the sixth edition of this great race, making it one of the strongest fields ever assembled at the Virginia venue. When you add Allard to the likes of Jason and Wayne Johnson, Danny Smith and Shane Stewart you can be assured that the Nationals will be one event that will be talked about for a long time to come. In fact this weekend’s event will see the largest American contingent seen at the Virginia venue outside of a World Series Sprintcars round since 2002.
International Nationals Field For Speedway City

Last weekends Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic winner Shane Stewart is the latest American driver to confirm their entry for this Saturday nights (January 30) Jack Daniels Racing Australian Sprintcar Nationals at Speedway City. Stewart was the inaugural winner of this prestigious race back in the 2004/05 season and he joins fellow countrymen Jason Johnson, Danny Smith and Wayne Johnson in the 34 car field.
Purton Rockets To Round 9 Win

Former Australian Champion Kevin Purton showed that he will be a force at this year’s National Championship as he claimed the 35 lap JD Couriers supported A-main at Speedway City last night which incorporated round 9 of the Carline Mufflers National Super Sedan Series. The Tasmanian started the final from the pole position, after top qualifier Sam Hughes elected to start on the outside of the front row, and once he made the pass for the lead on lap five he was never headed although he was hounded for a majority of the race by current National and Series Champion Darren Kane.
