NOS Sprints will have their inaugural race meeting at Speedway City on Opening Night (October 25th), and will also appear on another 4 occasions during the 2008 - 2009 Season. November 15th will feature Round 1 of the SA Series. Dates are as follows -

Once again, the 2008 - 2009 Speedway City Season will feature our Track Championships for both the Open and 360ci Sprintcars. There will be double points on offer at our Opening Night on October 25th, as well as the Final Round of the series - 360's on April 4th and Opens on Easter Sunday Night April 12th. The dates for the Opens and 360's are as follows -

Last Night (Saturday 31st May) saw the second annual Sprintcar Competitors of SA / Speedway City Presentation Night - held at the Adelaide Pavilion Function Centre. The night was attended by over 200 people - including drivers from the 360ci and Open (410ci) divisions. There was a great atmosphere and heaps of awards to end the 2007/2008 season on a good note!!

Last Saturday Night (May 25) Super Sedans SA celebrated one of their most successful seasons in recent years as they held their 2007/08 Presentation Dinner at the V8 Super Bar in Salisbury. The evening not only acknowledged the winners of the Super Sedans SA awards but also doubled as the Speedway City / JD Couriers Super Sedan Track Championship awards night and as a result the occasion attracted well over 100 guests.

Super Sedans will feature at Speedway City on 8 occasions in the 2008-2009 season. The J.D. Couriers Super Sedan Series will be on once again (thanks to John Dawson) and will be held over 4 rounds plus the final round, which will double up as the Speedway City Cup on April 12th. Also the Super Sedan Fireball Derby, which returned last season after a long absence, will feature on April 4th.

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel our "King Of The Burn Outs" Burn Out Competition tonight due to the rain overnight and this morning, which has made the track and surrounding areas impossible to drive on. We will be running the "King Of The Burn Outs" next Saturday Night - 3rd May, where the starting times, schedule and entry prices remain the same.

The 'King Of The Burn Outs' Burn Out Competition will still be on this Saturday Night (26th April). We have had many calls about Saturday Night's Burn Outs - which is a good sign that we should see a good turn-up of cars to 'Smoke Rubber'.
