Allard Makes It 5
Phil Michell posted Wednesday January 27, 2010.

Californian Sprintcar star Jonathan Allard has added his name to the impressive list of nominations for this weekend’s Jack Daniels Racing Australian Sprintcar Nationals at Speedway City. Allard is now the fifth American driver confirmed for the sixth edition of this great race, making it one of the strongest fields ever assembled at the Virginia venue. When you add Allard to the likes of Jason and Wayne Johnson, Danny Smith and Shane Stewart you can be assured that the Nationals will be one event that will be talked about for a long time to come. In fact this weekend’s event will see the largest American contingent seen at the Virginia venue outside of a World Series Sprintcars round since 2002.

Adding to the line up is World Series Sprintcars ace James McFadden, who has also lodged his nomination for the event making him the eleventh WSS contracted driver to confirm their appearance. Over the past week McFadden has been one of the strongest performed Australian drivers throughout Australia regularly taking it up to the American imports and I’m sure that this trend will continue this weekend.
