SPEEDCAR PRO SERIES SLIDES INTO SPEEDWAY CITY
Finish Line Media posted Thursday November 13, 2014.

The Mighty Speedcars headline the action this Saturday night at Speedway City with Round 5 of the Carline Mufflers Speedcar Pro Series proudly presented by ENZED South Australia. The racing has been intense in the first five rounds and with last round winner and defending Series champion Dayne Kingshott in the field he will be looking to double up after having taking the win at this corresponding round 12 months ago.

The runner up from last weekend Mark Brown will be hoping for a change of luck this weekend at Virginia while former National champion Neville Lance also fits in that same boat after a horror run at last years Aussie titles here.

They will be joined by fellow West Australians Todd Waddell, Lee Redmond, Rob & Daniel Golding & Nick Rowe. Queensland's Brett Thomas is also in the field along with a small but very talented South Aussies who will be keen to do well on their home track. Brock Hallett, Lee Dillon, Ben Hall, Nathan Squiers, Todd Bennett, Jamie Crouch & Mark Harrington all lead the SA contingent. Look out for Dillon in the #9 machine he will be keen to impress. Warrnambool's Dylan Willsher is also in the field driving the Darryl Knuckey owned #18 machine.

Also on the program is the annual Formula 500 Christmas Cup and while numbers may be down this section put on some great racing a few weeks ago with Lisa Walker looking to repeat her first up win but Angelo Karoussis will want to reverse that trend on Saturday. Joining them will be the usual suspects keen to get on the podium in Shaun Brown, Lachie Cates, Rory Stevenson, Michael Wise, Ross Miller & Simon Reichelt just to name a few.

The AMCA Nationals return with a great field of 19 cars and boasts several big guns in a division that got them to where they are today.. Current Australian champion Ryan Alexander will be competing along with former Late Model racer Michael Ffrench, Former Sedan pilot David Hartman returns as does Leanne Turner, Mick Brougham while rookie Jake Armstrong impressed here on Opening Night and will look forward to another run on the Virginia track.

The small group of 360 Sprintcars will also have a run this weekend.

The night will feature a Monster Fireworks Display at Interval which will light up the sky and if its like anything we saw on Opening Night this will be even better.

The wide variety on offer this week will be rounded out by a Car Crunching Demolition Derby and with 21 crazy drivers all primed to go it will be one not to be missed.
