This Saturday night South Australia's best domestic Sprintcar pilots will be out in force as they chase the Protec Paints South Australian Sprintcar Championships. Not only will the 410ci Title be on offer but the 360ci State Title is also on the program with a record entry list consisting of 28 drivers from the USA, South Australia, New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Victoria.

In what could be a history making night both American Jason Johnson and Mount Barker's Craig Vanderstelt will compete in both classes, with Vanderstelt going for his fourth 360ci title in five years.

In all a total of 46 Sprintcars will be action with 18 open cars also joining the high class 28 car entry in the 360ci ranks. With current State Champ David Murcott unable to compete a new Champ will be crowned and with the likes of Matt Egel, Phil March, Mark Reuter,Steven Lines, Lee Dillon, Ricky Maiolo and of course Jason Johnson in the field the racing should be quite intense.

Make sure you get to the track early to witness one of the big blue ribbon races on the SA Speedway Calendar. Gates Open at 5:00pm, with Engine Starts and Hotlaps at 5:45pm. Racing will start at 6:40pm.
